TERROIR: Our food simply tastes better. Fertile, biologically living soil gives organic food a higher brix content and more alkanoids, flavonoids, antioxidants, and other nutrients. We select varieties for flavor, not for yield or to ship 1000s of miles.
FRESHNESS & QUALITY: Freshness and quality is guaranteed. Our food is harvested at peak condition then immediately washed and stored in our walk-in cooler. Chefs have told us our produce lasts longer than food from California or elsewhere--that's because we deliver straight from our field to your restaurant.
DEPENDABILITY: At Strong Roots Organic Farm, dependability is multi-dimensional--we always deliver the expected quantity, we only delivery the highest quality, and the product is always how you asked for it.
CONSISTENCY: We offer 15 core crops that are harvested fresh year round so chefs can depend on our production for their menu planning. Chefs can offer local throughout the four seasons. We also have a wider array of crops that change with the growing season so chefs can craft seasonally inspired menus.
CONVENIENCE: Each season we meet with chefs in-person. Chefs tell us what they want, how much they want, when they want it, and how they want it. Each week we share our fresh sheet, so you can see what we have available, then call, text, or email us whenever you are inspired.
We offer tiered pricing--the more you buy the more you save. We also offer standing order discounts--if you consistently buy from us every week, we show our appreciation by giving you a discount.
