We are a family farm sustainably growing fresh vegetables, herbs, fruit, and mushrooms for central Pennsylvania.
We manage our farm to feed people fresh, nutritious food while regenerating biodiversity, enriching the soil, and improving the watershed. The richer and more fertile the soil, the more flavorful and nutritious the food. We use restoration ecology to regenerate the land and give you healthy, sustainable food. Our food is available at Centre Markets, local restaurants, and as a CSA share! We look forward to growing for you! |
Meet your farmersWe are a young family and blessed with three beautiful children. We mean it when we say: From our family to yours!
We have learned so much since starting our farm five years ago here in Woodward, PA. Prior to Woodward, Ethan farmed in Pennsylvania, Vermont, and California. Ethan has studied ecology and sustainable agriculture at Cornell University (B.S.) and The Pennsylvania State University (Ph.D.); he has also studied sustainable energy planning and management at Aalborg University in Denmark (M.S. Engineering Management). Siobhan studied at La Salle University (B.S.), and has a background in teaching environmental and conservation education. We are so grateful to be able to call Penns Valley home and make a living farming full time. Thank you. |
